J.J. Hathaway's Fires and Folklore

This EP is a sequence of sonic portraits that I have spent the past couple of years putting together. Mother in Clouds in particular is a piece that I have done many variations on being an ever changing 'sonic portrait.'

The final track 'Mausoleum of Time' has something to do with a personal resemblance to a quote from William Faulkner's The sound and the fury.

The quote reads as follows:
"I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire... I give it to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all of your breath trying to conquer it."
